Yesterday we visited Caroline at her apartment in Salem, OH. She lives in this really cool old house from the 1800s that has been remodeled into apartments. It's a neat place and seems to fit her personality really well. The section of the house with her apartment used to be the library of the house when it was just one address. Since she loves to read, it's really perfect. Her bookshelves line the walls in the living room. We all had a lot of fun laughing about the tiny little door into the bathroom. I don't know how she's gonna fit through it as you continue to grow in her tummy!
While getting to see her apartment was fun, the best part was meeting your grandmother and grandfather, Caroline's parents. They take care of a little boy named LJ while his dad is at work. While we at Caroline's apartment, we played trains in the floor with LJ.
Later on, we had a delicious supper in downtown Salem and headed to West Branch High School to see their production of Sweeney Todd. On the way, Dorie called Caroline and had us stop by their house. She gave us a bunch of stuff from the garden (garlic, peppers, onions). Wasn't that sweet? The musical was great. Those kids did an awesome job!
By the time the show was over, it was getting late. We drove Caroline back to her apartment and took our first pictures with her, in her living room. I am attaching that picture to this post. I hope you're comfy in there. We already love you so much and can't wait to finally meet you!
